A cute and cozy frog collection and farming game, Trapped on a deserted island, you are greeted by a mysterious woman who asks you to take care of her frogs while she is away.
About The Game
Frog Island is a fully hand-drawn, frog collection and farming game where players can take care of magical frogs, grow crops, and decorate and explore their own island.

This game draws inspiration from cute relaxation games such as Neko Atsume, Stardew Valley, and Animal Crossing. I wanted to create a fun and relaxing game that people of all ages could enjoy, while keeping it simple but engaging.
Gameplay Features
Travelling Frog Merchant
The mysterious frog merchant is one of the only frogs to understand and communicate with you. Sell him your items and fresh produce and he'll pay you in coins. Players can also buy special items from the merchant, such as decorations, toys, unique ingredients, and more!

Farming
On Frog Island, you’ll have your very own plot of farmland to tend to. Players can grow veggies, herbs, fruits, mushrooms, and more! Water your plants everyday and keep bugs and pests away to grow delicious produce to sell or cook!

Fishing Dock
This round stone on the island shore offers a beautiful view of the ocean, and a great spot to fish as well! Players can use this spot to gather fish, clams, sea creatures, seaweed, and other ocean-related things!

Bug Catching and Bug Jars
You will need some sort of way to attract frogs to play with the toys. Luckily, Frog Island is home to a large variety of bugs and critters, that you'll be able to catch with a bug net! Each bug has a different quality, and players will be able to create bug jars and place them around the island to attract unique frogs!

Toys
Players will be able to leave out a wide variety of toys and objects for the frogs to interact with. Each toy will yield unique and adorable interactions with the frogs. Players can buy these toys from the frog merchant using coins they've earned. Once frogs interact with a toy, their trust will increase and they will leave a small coin reward as thanks. Make sure to diversify your toys on the island, as different frogs will play with different toys!

Kitchen
In the kitchen, players take the veggies, fruits, and other ingredients they've gathered and bought, to cook different kinds of recipes. Expand your cookbook by discovering new recipes through experimentation, or by buying and finding hidden ones around the island!

Frog Pharmacy
Craft and brew potions and medicine to heal and cure sick frogs, create powerful fertilizers to boost your crops, and much more! Combine herbs and rare magical ingredients to make a variety of different potions.

Friends System
Life can get lonely on Frog Island. Luckily, friends from islands afar will be able to visit your frog island! Friends can like and comment on each other’s islands, give gifts to each other, and even take photos.

Photo Album
To preserve all the memories of your time here on Frog Island, make sure to take lots of photos of your adorable frogs! Each frog will have their own separate section in the album for you to fill with photos.

Souvenirs
Once a frog has reached a certain bond strength with you, it will give you a unique gift. Treasure this souvenir, as it represents their trust and love.
